Advantages of mct-fats

The "plus"
mct-basis-plus has been enriched by thistle oil and linseed oil and so contains vital so-called essential polyunsaturated triglycerides such as alpha-linolic acid and alpha-linolenic acid which food normally has to supply the body. In the given quantity and in combination with mct-triglycerides, they can be absorbed just as easily by the intestine and effect important functions for the entire organism, as well as for the intestine, to an extent, too.

From essential triglycerides, the body produces its own antibodies (immunoglobulin) and certain prostaglandins (tissue hormones) that also have a positive impact on intestinal functions. In addition they constitute the initial stages of modules which are required to form cell membranes for new mucosal cells in the small intestine if these have to be replaced due to certain intestinal diseases.
mct-basis-plus has been enriched with the above mentioned oils and as a result contains omega-3 and omega-6 triglycerides
